Holy Moly. It’s May, well the end of May, and I am just now typing this. I had the pleasure of capturing Sarah and Robbie’s engagement session this past winter. I flew into Manchester, NH with my baby girl Mazie (who sadly doesn’t seem like much of a baby anymore). We were able to visit and stay with my brother and sister-in-law right before Christmas. It was such a great long weekend. Meg and I drove out with the kids to walk around Woodstock, VT. Let me tell you, that place is like a postcard. The Christmas lights up in-front of the Woodstock Inn were dreamy.
I drove out to Sarah’s parent’s house that Monday evening, well late afternoon really. {I always aim for scheduling sessions around sunset time for softest lighting. The sun goes down so early on the east coast.} Anyway, we trekked out into the snow and started at their ceremony spot. Yes, I get to fly back in this September to capture their wedding in this exact spot!! It’s a dream really. Beautiful and so peaceful. As kids, Sarah and her brothers use to play in the creek that runs through the property. The pasture to the left side of the ceremony site will be full of cattle. It really brought me so much joy to be out there close to nature. I cannot wait to return in a few months.
See you soon!
As always, thanks for stopping by! Love, Eileen
