When I think of my “ideal client” (as the business people so often refer to), I think of this family. Brittany is my childhood friend. Her husband is salt of the earth. Their love for each other is so visible. They love life. They love people. They love their twin boys.

This is not to say that they are perfect. Because I think the best humans know that they aren’t. But they strive to be their favorite versions of themselves. I think this is why they are one of my “ideals”. I want families that embrace chaos and mess. I want families that aren’t afraid to let out a big belly laugh. My ideal client is honest. They are joyful. This is what I live to capture.

Things you might feel while looking at these photos: joy, peace, playfulness, happiness, calm, strength nostalgia. That first cannonball kind of feeling; drinking from the hose on a hot day. Tickle fights and giggles. And then of course, the occasional push from a sibling. 🙂
