I am not (really) a travel photographer, or well that hasn’t been part of my business. I always imagined that I would love to travel for weddings. But I just ended up being marketed in Indiana. So how did I end up in Norwich, Vermont for a wedding?
My dear SIL reached out to me asking for a friend. “Would you travel to Vermont to shoot my friend’s wedding?” Short answer: YES! Resounding. Definitely. I love the northeast.
The first time I met Lucia (in-person) was during the finishing touches for her hair and makeup, hours before her wedding ceremony. She was one of the sweetest brides I have worked with. I was absolutely smitten with the farmhouse that they rented. Their ceremony took place at the Strafford Town House before ending up at their family farm in Norwich.
Their day was filled with beautiful peonies, maple syrup and lots of friends. Thank you so much L&L for inviting me out to your home. 10/10, will travel again.
(Peep the cake cutting, there were some playfully given threats before that event. Can anyone else relate?)
P.S. If you can swing it, always a live band.
Thanks for visiting! Love, Eileen
