Hi all!

It’s been a while. (And by a while, I mean it’s been over a year). I fall behind on blogging and posting on Instagram so often. Maybe that’s a fatal flaw, but I don’t think so. I am working on building a blog post to capture the entirety of last year. One image per session all in one post. Seems wild, but I think it will be fun 🙂

I am wrapping up my Maternity Leave after having our sweet baby girl, Mazie, in February. When I had Web, I dove back into work a little too quickly and it definitely added to my sense of fatigue and overwhelm.

I was so excited to have this session with the Johnsons. They recently added two more little girls to their family. Believe it or not, they waited until birth to find out what the sex of their twins were. Wild! I brought my little lady along and she played on their play mat while I captured this family in action. Some of my favorite shots of them are the playful in-betweens. Always. I don’t think that will change for me. Those are the moments that feel the most real.
