Cheyanne reached out to me about engagement photos this Spring. She said that they really enjoyed being downtown and the Canal area especially. They even pre-scouted spots for their session! *Ideal* Loved this! She had a vision when it came to their engagement session.

Anyway, we met on a beautiful evening after a day of pop-up showers. The sky was perfect though! Cheyanne gave me a little hint that Devin wouldn’t turn down a beer or tequila, so I showed up with some drinks 🙂 We started the session with a beer and a seltzer. [ I aIways want you (my clients) to feel as comfortable as possible!] On our walk to the canal we got to know each other a little better.

At this time I already knew that Cheyanne was a professional ballerina, but I had no clue what Devin did. We chatted about how the pandemic affected her work (virtual shows, less instructing, etc.). I found out that they had a kitten named Mango (adorable name)! And… they are planning to get married next year in California, where she is from. At a zoo! Can you imagine? Giraffe feeding during cocktail hour??? The coolest!

I loved working with both of you and hanging out in Indy! I *had* to throw images of our photo bombers in here too.
