Cristian and my sister Kelly have been friends since 2nd grade. I was thrilled when Cristian asked me to be her wedding photographer (feels like a mini proposal)! I hadn’t had a wedding at Purdue yet, and although my husband is a huge IU fan, I was excited!

At this point in the year I was almost 7 months pregnant. I asked my youngest sister to come along for the ride to help me out with toting things around and snapping a few extra photos if she wanted. She has a great artistic eye as well. My parents were attending the wedding, so again, also helpful. But honestly, I had a super healthy pregnancy so it went much better than it could have given the circumstances.

Their wedding day went so smoothly. The ceremony was at a beautiful church, followed by bridal party photos around campus. Of course their first stop was at Harry’s for a few drinks. The reception was filled with love, laughter and quite a few sentimental moments. Cristian and her dad had a choreographed first dance and all the tables had sunglasses as party favors.

It was such a wonderful day! Congratulations Cristian and Dustin!!
