Hi Friends!!  This past February I had the pleasure of documenting my friend Jake’s proposal 🙂

His girlfriend, Meghan, loves giraffes.  And when I say loves them, she LOVES them!  He booked a private experience at Wilstem Ranch in southern Indiana to make this day extra special for her.

We started off the tour in the Kangaroo barn.  These little cuties felt like the softest, fluffiest bunny rabbit you’ve ever encountered.  I had no idea they would be so soft!  (It’s so fluffy I’m gonna die!) This little one wanted to eat Meghan’s jacket 🙂 We then made our way to the giraffe barn.  Meghan was so excited to see the giraffes that she didn’t even notice the proposal sign that was on the wall.  Jake finally pointed it out and the waterworks started flowing.  She was overjoyed!!! Obviously, she said Yes!! 
After the initial excitement of the proposal, we were able to feed and pet the giraffes.  Let me tell you, if you haven’t seen a giraffe’s tongue, it’s the freakiest thing!  

After the ranch, Jake had another surprise for Meghan.  We were staying in French Lick across from the resort.  When we arrived at the condo, we walked in to see many people already occupying the space: Jake and Meghan’s families and closest friends were there to celebrate with them!  We went to dinner and obviously to the casino.  What a great weekend!!
